12th class pass or equivalent and should possess current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) on the date of submission of application

Born between (01 Jul 1983 to 30 Jun 1991)
Assistant Commandant Women (General Duty) for Short Service Appointment for period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and may be further extended up to 14 years by the Central Government.
Degree of a recognised university with Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Intermediate or Class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent.

Deputy Commandant (Law)
(i) A degree in Law with 6 years experience in legal matters.(ii) Should be qualified for enrolment as an advocate in a High CourtDesirable (i) A post Graduate degree in Law(ii) Knowledge/Experience in Assignment connected with International Law/Maritime Law.

Medical Standard(a) Height in cms.(i) Asst Commandant (GD) : 157 cms minimum, may be reduced by 5 cms in the case of Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese( including those from Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura) Garhwal, Sikkim, Local tribes of A & N islands and 2 cms in case of candidates from Lakshadweep, mainland settlers in Andaman and Nicobar.(ii) Asst Commandant (Women) and Asst. Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holder for short service appointment: Minimum 162 cms and maximum 197 cms, leg length 99 cms.(b) Weight: Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.(c) Chest : Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cmsEye Sight(i) Asst Commandant (GD) - 6/6 (Good Eye) and 6/9 (Bad Eye) without glasses.(ii) Asst Commandant (Pilot) and Asst Comdt Pilot entry for Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holder for short service appointment - 6/6(Both Eyes) without glasses(iii) Asst Commandant (Women) - 6/6 (Good Eye) and 6/9 (Bad Eye) without glasses.(iv) Deputy Commandant (Law) - 6/6 & 6/12 (with glass), 6/60 (without glass)
Selection Process:Short listed candidates will be called for selection test/interview at CGSB, Noida(UP). Candidate’s excellence in Academics, Sports and NCC will be given due weight age whilst short listing the candidates.The selection process consists of two phases(i) Preliminary Selection Boards (PSB), It consists of General Mental Ability Test in which the candidates will be tested for General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning.(ii) Final Selection Board (FSB), It consists of Psychological Test, Group Testing and Interview (Personality Test).Medical examination will be held at Delhi.How to Apply:Applications in the prescribed format (type written or hand written in English/Hindi) is to be sent so as to reach on or before 30 Nov 2009 toThe Director (MPR&T), Post Box No. 127, Noida (U.P) – 201301. Under Postal Certificate (UPC) only. Central/State Govt. employees should apply through proper channel. Attested copies of certificate of age, caste of the candidate, educational qualification including statement of marks, NCC, Sports and self addressed unstamped envelope of size 25 x 10 cm are to be attached with the application.
