Five years experience as Assistant Librarian in a University/Professional Junior/Documentation Officer/ College Librarian or equivalent cadre
Evidence of innovative library services, published work and professional commitment, computerization of Library.
Assistant Librarian / Documentation Officer : 17 postsEligibility: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale + A consistently good academic record. 2. Qualified in the National Level Test in the relevant subject conducted by UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. Exemption were given vide UGC letter No. F.3-1/94 (PS)/7 dated 22nd September 2006 and E.C. Resolution No. 141 (1) dated 13.12.2006: 2.1 Exemption from NET to the M.Phil/Ph.D degree holders for appointment as Assistant Librarian and 2.2 Relaxation of 5% in Master’s Degree Marks to those who did it prior to 1991, have a Ph.D Degree and are already in the University System.
Professional Assistant : 11 postsEligibility: M.Lib.Sc./ MLISc. Or equivalent with 50 % marks; OR Master’s Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib. Sc./B.L.I.Sc with 50% marks. 2. Computer Science paper at Graduate/ PG level or six months computer science course from a recognized institution.
Library Attendant : 89 postsEligibility: Passed 10th or equivalent examination from any State Education Board or Govt.recognized Institution.
Medical Officer : 04 postsEligibility:M.B.B.S Degree from a recognised University.2. At least three years post qualification experience.
X- Ray Technician : 01 postEligibility: Graduate with Diploma in Radiography with 2 years experience as Radiographer in General Hospitals.
Nurse : 03 postsEligibility: Diploma in General Nursing and Mid-wifery from the recognized University or Institution and registered as ‘A’ Grade Nurse.
Technical Assistant : 01 postEligibility: Matric or Hr. Secondary with Science. Certificate or Diploma in Medical Laboratory, Technicians course with 5 years experience in Pathology, Bacteriology, Bio-chemistry & Seriology. Science Graduate preferred in their cases 3 years experience only will be required.
Attendant : 02 postsEligibility: Matriculation
